Your local dive. Its the older crowd until the night shift rolls around then its a hodgepodge of people who "come out of the woodwork." I had a great time there except for the smoking in the bar. They have pool tables and darts a few TV's. Didn't have any food. Definitely not a first date type place unless you are testing your date or are smokers. Overall fun place if you like smokey dive bars.

My daughter and I went a few days ago and had a blast! What a nice group of people. Bartender was great. Drinks and wings were great! Probably paid 1/2 what you would anywhere else downtown and had a great time. I will definitely go back! Allison

This place is great for what it is. Very cheap drinks, a pool table. Non judgemental group.

Small bar just outside the main part of St. Augustine. Reasonably priced drinks.

A very cool dive off the beaten path. Near Ice Plant too which makes for an interesting evening ...

Great bar tenders nice place to get a cold beer they no longer serve lunch but have things like wings that are really good and fries, o rings and things like that.

Not good with not allowing underage drinking. i went there once and they have many people with fake ids. one of the bouncers lets them in.

A great local dive bar. A little intimidating walking up to what looks like a creep shack but once inside very cool. Bartenders were friendly and promot with service. Downside is the heavy smoke and what appears to be no smoke eaters. Expect to go home and have to wash your clothes. Drinks were very reasonable but smaller glasses not pints so probably average price. Fun crowd, no drama.

One of the great landmarks of St Auguatine..

Always a fun and interesting time at The G Gator. I love this place. Been coming for years. I must say that the past few times were some of my favorites. I'd give 5 stars if there was walk-through access to "Workshop Records" on LaQuinta. Although I may be a jerk because it is likely the landowners behind GG don't want folks wandering through their side yards/alleys. If I have to drive, walk, or stumble, I'll always enjoy my visits to The GG.

I would give this place no stars, walken in twice now, yet to get a beer. 1st time we sat at the bar, no body behind the bar, no body came to the bar. Nothing..... There were people in there drinking, just didn't have time to wait on us. Second time walked in was going to sit down at the bar, was told, all the bar seats were saved........ Didn't see that many people in there. Figured they just didn't like the way we looked

This one caters to locals that want a cold beer, good shot, and a pool table. What really makes this place shine is the staff. I've always had great bartenders here. They're friendly, quick with a joke, and quicker with a pint!
